Old Collegian wins Innovation Award

Cornes and Whateley dominant at AFMAs as SEN picks up best innovation award

Project Diamond CEO Ricky D’Amelio accepted the award for the outstanding innovative work he and his team have undertaken in launching the zero latency product which is available to listeners live at AFL games in stadiums around the country.

From Ricky’s LinkedIn:

Last night at the Australian Football Media Awards, SEN was awarded Best Innovation for SEN Stadium and SEN Sync. As many people know, getting Stadium and Sync to where it is today has been a very long journey which started years ago. There have been countless experiments, conversations, prototypes, failures, and wins. Getting it right was an exercise in patience and the result is something truly emotive, these are technologies which bring an exciting delight that has become rare these days — people are fascinated by the experience, or stumped by how it could work. That for me is what is really special, and what makes this recognition so rewarding.

Thank you to the many people who have worked so hard to make SEN Stadium and SEN Sync a reality, especially the Project Diamond team.
