Yesterday, the Chair of the Whitefriars College Board, Margaret McKenna, and I had the privilege of meeting with Professor Elizabeth Labone, the new Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Catholic Education Authority (VCEA). Professor Labone oversees the Catholic school sector in Victoria, which serves 213,000 students and employs 28,000 teachers and staff across 496 school communities.

Joined by Bruce Phillips, Chief Strategy Officer of the VCEA, Professor Labone dedicated time to learning about Whitefriars College and gaining insight into our unique needs.

We are incredibly grateful for Professor Labone’s time and her steadfast commitment to supporting not only our school but all Catholic schools across Victoria.
