Over the past 18 months, the Associated Catholic Colleges and their affiliate schools, proposed and worked through the process of creating an opportunity to host a mixed gender Netball tournament to strengthen the connection between ACC member schools and their partner girls schools.
Yesterday, the inaugural partner program was launched playing a round robin mixed Netball tournament with 11 member/partner teams involved, at an Intermediate age group (year 9 and 10).
The tournament was a great success, and our 2 teams both played some great Netball.
Our Division 2 team made the Grand Final and were narrowly defeated by St Josephs/Mater Christi, whilst our Division 1 team went through the day undefeated defeating the Salesian/Sacred Heart Girls team in the Grand Final.
Well done to all 20 boys and girls involved.
