Whitefriars College aims to develop and maintain a staff that is committed to the ethos of the College, professional in its approach to teaching and learning, and is diverse in the range and scope of the skills and experiences it provides.

Our employment policy has been developed in the light of the Mission and Values Statement of Whitefriars College, in which we seek to live by and teach those values which the Catholic church upholds and to celebrate our Catholic identity in the Carmelite Tradition. Financial support is available for staff who are involved in relevant further studies and we provide extensive access to technology through a subsidised Tablet Computer scheme.

Whitefriars College is a Child Safe School

Whitefriars College provides employees, volunteers and clergy with regular and appropriate opportunities to develop their knowledge of, openness to and ability to address child safety matters. This includes induction, ongoing training and professional learning to ensure that everyone understands and is compliant in their professional and legal obligations and responsibilities, and the procedures for reporting suspicion of child abuse and neglect.

The College is currently seeking to appoint the following positions:

Casual Relief Teachers

Whitefriars College regularly needs Casual Relief Teachers to support the College program and welcomes expressions of interest from suitably qualified registered secondary teachers.
