On Tuesday 28 May, Year 8 and 9 SRC representatives were invited to the Middle Leaders Network event held by Assumption College. Students had the opportunity to network with other student leaders, explore their identity as emerging leaders and to collaborate on a shared goal to bring back to school for semester 2. Thank you to Assumption College for hosting such an inspiring day!

“The Middle Leaders Network event as Assumption College was an amazing experience, we met lots of people from different schools and we collaborated about different kinds of leadership. The Dean of Students and the 2023 College Captain gave us inspirational speeches on what it means to be a leader. We were given the time to talk to each other, within our school groups, about how we can better our school using the skills we had learned. The two key take aways for me was that there are many different types of leaders and ways to lead, and that as a leader you must do what is best for the people you lead.”  Lachlan Haste, Year 8
