Last Friday, Oscar W (Year 9 Brandsma) competed in Brisbane at the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships. He ran the U/16 800m and placed 2nd with a PB of 1.54.4. This outstanding time creates a new record for Whitefriars, and converts to a silver medal at the Australian Championships.

On Sunday, he ran the 1500m and placed 2nd.
