Owen Robinson enjoyed an exciting week of work experience in professional musical theatre.

Below recounts his daily tasks:

Wednesday – Observation with the FOH sound engineer/mixer (in the afternoon), and then ASM observation (in the wings side of stage) for act 1, and then following along with stage manager cues and the prompt copy of the script for act 2 (at night)

Thursday – Orchestra pit observation (with headphones and a device I totally remember the name of which could adjust the levels of every instrument for my headphones)

Friday – Watching from the audience.
