On Friday 11 August, in celebration of the Olympics Whitefriars held a pickleball tournament. The event saw 24 duos battle it out on the court for Pickleball glory. The lunchtime was filled with impressive shots, teams having heartbreaking exits from the tournament and drama like no other. The teachers own Mr Tovey and Mr Williams took on the students pairing of Josh Ascar and Xavier Landy.

It was an intense match and ultimately the students prevailed with Josh and Xavier claiming the win.

It was great to such a large interest in participating and will contribute to seeing more events like this in the future.
